Low Carb Chicken Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into small strips
  • 1 green pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 7 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • during a hot forged iron frying pan, soften one tablespoon of butter and add peppers, onion, and garlic.
  • Saute till the onions and peppers ar clear then take away veggies from the frying pan and put aside.
  • soften the remaining two tablespoons of butter within the forged iron frying pan then add chicken, Italian seasoning, and salt/pepper.
  • enable to sear on both sides, then cowl and cook on medium-low till the chicken is parched all the means through. i exploit a thermometer to check doneness.
  • Once the chicken is completed, add the pepper, onion, and garlic back to the frying pan. Cook on low for two minutes.
  • Place provolone cheese slices on prime of the chicken and green goods mixture to hide, then place the frying pan within the kitchen appliance on broil for 1-3 minutes till the cheese is molten completely.
  • Serve
