Easy Peesy French Bread

  • 1½ cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 3½ - 4½ cups flour

  • mix the water, honey, salt and yeast during a glass bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes. till there is some effervescent, foam stuff on the highest.
  • Next, add a bunch of flour. I used simply regular white organic flour. Keep kneading till it's now not sticky. you would like your dough to be projecting to itself, not your fingers. So, keep adding flour and keep kneading till that happens.
  • kind the dough into a loaf form. cowl with a towel and let sit on the counter for twenty minutes (or on high of the preheating kitchen appliance if your room is cold). this can be the time to line the kitchen appliance to four hundred degrees.
  • once twenty minutes., cut slits within the high of the dough and bake for 16-20 minutes.
  • Variations is created by adding garlic and oregano, or cinnamon and raisins, or no matter you dream up!
